Job summary

Revlon in Oxford, NC is seeking a Quality Control Technician (Raw Materials) for an onsite, full-time role. You will sampling, inspecting, testing and final disposition of raw materials and finished goods per department procedures.

You will use organoleptic and chemical testing, enter results in SAP, support training, and coordinate with Bulk Planning/Manufacturing/Receiving. The role requires flexibility with shifts and weekend work as needed; base pay range $45,000–$55,000 plus incentives and

Qualifications

• Must have good math and organization skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Aptitude for color and organoleptic evaluation.
• Work independently with minimum supervision.
• College degree in a science/technical discipline preferred; relevant experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Organoleptic evaluation, shade evaluation and physical/chemical testing of raw materials.
• Sample raw materials in accordance with procedures and specs.
• Use, care and calibration of instruments including Karl Fischer, pH meter and IR.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Enter evaluation, test results and final disposition in SAP.
• Coordinate sampling and testing with Bulk Planning/Manufacturing/Receiving.
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices and safety requirements.
