Job summary

Fidelity Investments seeks a Director, QRI Business Operations to support data validation, vendor relationships, and issue management for the Quantitative Research and Investments teams. You will ensure operational processes are well-controlled, efficient, scalable, and aligned with QRI priorities.

You will work across Fidelity to collaborate with research, technology, compliance, and vendors, driving automation and reducing operational risk while supporting investment research workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field (math, stats, eng, CS, finance).
• 5+ years of experience in investment operations or related financial services support.
• Strong data analysis and data quality control capabilities.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Snowflake, and Oracle; familiarity with data quality frameworks.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a transparent operations framework for QRI to drive quality and continuous improvement.
• Foster strong working relationships with research, technology, and business partners.
• Drive prioritization and implement automation to reduce risk and increase efficiency.
• Develop understanding of the quantitative investment process, data inputs, validation, and workflow dependencies.
• Maintain workflow documentation and standard operating procedures across the team.
