Job summary

HDR is seeking a highly experienced Business Class Director for Pump Stations and Pipelines. The role leads technical capabilities, coordinates with market sectors and operations, and manages risk across projects within HDR’s water practice.

The position emphasizes leadership of staff, strategic planning, and collaboration with university partners and clients to drive successful outcomes nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or closely related field required.
• At least 10 years of related field experience.
• Professional registration in Architecture/Engineering for leadership roles in technical design.
• Experience leading diverse teams and managing complex programs.
• Ability to work cooperatively with HDR leaders across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build relationships with related business classes, market sectors and operations.
• Lead risk management through reviews and advisory services on projects.
• Drive quality assurance and control in collaboration with HDR quality teams.
• Oversee development and application of tools, standards and techniques.
