ICF Olson's Disaster Management Division seeks a Director of Risk Management and Insurance to lead the Risk and Insurance practice, guide a team of risk professionals, and expand Federal, state, and local government work. The role is 100% remote in the U.S.

with travel. You will oversee delivery quality, build client relationships, and drive strategies for NFIP, floodplain management, property, workers' compensation, and self-insurance programs while advancing cross-selling opportunities across

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required in risk management, business, public administration, finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive risk management, insurance, or related public sector experience.
• 3+ years leading teams and managing or advising on public entity property insurance and workers' compensation.
• Experience with NFIP and floodplain management requirements.

Mansioni

• Lead business development for risk management and insurance work at federal, state, and local levels.
• Oversee the Risk and Insurance team: priorities, staffing, mentoring, and skills growth.
• Provide senior oversight of project delivery: quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.
• Advise clients on designing and running public entity insurance programs (property, casualty, workers' comp).
• Guide NFIP compliance, flood risk reduction strategies, and floodplain management.
• Support claims processes with brokers, TPAs, and agencies after losses.
