Department Overview

The Software Enterprise Deployment and Integration team delivers solutions to the public safety sector. We are committed to providing technology and tools that allow customers to focus on their mission and respond faster with smarter and safer decisions. The Director leads the Project Management and Solution Integration team, delivering NextGen 9-1-1 projects to our public safety customers. These include large Statewide, Regional, and major Municipal Public Safety Applications, such as ALI Location Services, Emergency Call Handling, and NextGen 911 Core Routing solutions.

Overview:

This leadership position is responsible for Project Managers fulfilling customer contracts by delivering NextGen 9-1-1 Location, Routing, and Call Handling solutions. The role requires staying current on industry developments, understanding the competitive and economic environment, and leading the business in innovative directions. The Director collaborates across teams, provides feedback and development guidance, and evaluates performance based on clear goals. They are energized by challenges, make bold moves, and respond proactively to customer needs by seeking feedback and ensuring staff values the customer perspective.

Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience or 15+ years managing complex deployments in a Public Safety environment.
• Experience delivering NextGen 9-1-1 solutions is a strong plus.
• Established relationships with government and public safety industry groups (e.g., APCO, NENA, IACP).
• Contributor to policy decisions regarding NextGen 9-1-1 solutions, processes, and methodologies.
• Experience across the value chain: Opportunity development, Sales, Product, Delivery, Support, and Operations.
• Expertise in project management methodologies and their application.
• Ability to influence at all organizational levels.
• Leadership and role modeling for project management professionals.
• Strong project management skills: prioritization and deadline management.

Salary Range: $145,500 - $272,800 USD. Compensation varies based on experience and skills. The actual offer will be individualized.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline plus 10+ years of project management or similar experience, and 8+ years in a people management role.
• Or 15+ years of project management and management experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer sponsorship is not available.

Travel and Relocation

Over 50% travel required. No relocation assistance provided.
