Job summary

Stellar Energy Global Infrastructure (SEGI) is hiring a Project Controls Director to lead and advance the integrated controls function for turnkey EPC energy infrastructure projects. The role blends hands-on execution with strategic leadership to ensure safe, on-schedule, and budget-conforming project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field from an accredited university.
• 12-15+ years of progressive project controls experience on EPC projects in thermal power generation or large-scale industrial infrastructure.
• Expert-level Primavera P6 proficiency with schedule development and progress updating on complex EPC projects.
• Strong Earned Value Management (EVM) expertise including metrics, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience leading a project controls team and implementing dashboards and system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and own the project controls framework with tools, processes, standards, and reporting templates.
• Lead and grow a high-performing project controls team; recruit, mentor, and set expectations.
• Serve as the lead project controls professional on critical data center, LNG, or international projects.
• Own the full project controls lifecycle: baseline development, progress measurement, and forecasting.
• Develop and govern Primavera P6 schedules from proposal through commissioning.
• Lead estimating support for proposals and change orders with cost inputs and risk allowances.
• Partner with finance to establish robust cost controls, budgets, and early-warning mechanisms.
• Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and commercial teams for integrated data.
• Support proposal development and bid reviews with rigorous schedule and cost input.
• Leverage AI to improve tools, dashboards, and reporting using SAP S/4HANA, Procore, Primavera, and BI systems.
