Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC seeks a Director of Project Controls to lead scheduling, document control, risk and governance for commercial construction and tech infra projects in Houston. You will build a high‑performing team, establish standards, and drive disciplined controls across a diverse portfolio.

The role collaborates with PM, design, and client teams; involves heavy reporting, dashboards (Power BI), and ensuring schedule integrity and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive project controls experience on commercial construction or tech infra.
• Experience establishing and scaling project controls structures and governance.
• CPM scheduling proficiency (Primavera P6) and document control platforms (Procore).
• Advanced Excel and Power BI for reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall vision and staffing strategy for the Project Controls department.
• Lead project controls staff, including schedulers and document control specialists.
• Establish training programs for consistent controls capability across the org.
• Oversee schedule development, updates, and baseline management.
• Own change management processes and ensure auditable control of documents.
• Lead risk workshops and maintain project risk registers.
• Develop executive dashboards and progress reporting for leadership and clients.
