Job summary
The Orthodox Union (OU) is seeking a Director of Programs Technology to lead the technology team responsible for planning, building, delivering, and supporting digital solutions across OU's programs. Reporting to the CIO, you will translate organizational needs into working solutions, guide cross-functional collaboration, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
You will supervise developers and the Technology Delivery Manager.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading technology teams in a delivery-focused environment.
- Track record managing projects from concept through implementation and support.
- Strong ability to translate organizational needs into technical solutions.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and release management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to balance strategic and hands-on responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Own the technology roadmap for OU programs.
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects.
- Collaborate with CIO and stakeholders across 15 programs.
- Lead and mentor developers and the Technology Delivery Manager.
- Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and well-documented.
