Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Director 1, Programs to lead the Launch Center Integrated Product Team in Roy, Utah. This executive role requires strong judgment and collaboration across dispersed teams and with customers and industry partners.

You will set a vision, build a high-performing team, and own cost, schedule, and technical performance. DoD Secret clearance is required; TS/SCI is nice to have. Competitive benefits and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of applicable experience, or Master’s and 8 years’ of experience.
• Experience leading people and managing cost, schedule, and/or technical performance
• 3+ years experience in program management on development programs
• Active DoD Secret clearance, investigation must have been completed within last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Set a Vision: Develop and communicate a clear vision for shaping, growing, and enabling the Launch Center IPT to meet and exceed its obligations.
• Build a High Performing Team: Partner with Functional leadership to build, maintain, and implement mentoring, succession, and development plans.
• Take Ownership: Drive execution across a diverse, multidisciplinary team, meeting cost, schedule, and technical performance metrics.
• Lead with Courage: Instill a culture of empowerment and accountability that enables the team to meet obligations.
• Respond to Challenges with Resilience: Manage risks and leverage partnerships to recover and maintain momentum.
• Act with Speed: Enable timely decisions and drive process improvements to maintain execution velocity.
