FMI seeks a Director of Business Growth & Operations in Denver to own and scale FMI’s experiential learning programs—PMA and CBA—treating them as a business with end-to-end operations including revenue growth and delivery. The role leads a growing team and partners with facilitators to bring programs to market.

Qualifications

• Experience owning or operating a P&L, business unit, or revenue-generating program with 7+ years of leadership and growth accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and margin growth.
• Proven experience leading business development, including pipeline management, proposal development, and enrollment or sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end program performance across assigned offerings, operating each program as a business with accountability for revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategy, and margin management.
• Lead business development for assigned programs, including client discovery, proposal development, and pricing strategy, with accountability for pipeline performance and enrollment targets.
• Set growth strategy and roadmap for expanding into additional performance and technical offerings.
• Own the operational mechanics of running corporate training programs at scale - program scheduling, enrollment logistics, and consistency of delivery across program sessions.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Program Operations Managers, Coordinators, and facilitators, setting clear expectations, driving accountability, and ensuring operational discipline.
• Coach and develop the Program Operations Manager and Coordinator toward full ownership of day-to-day program operations, while retaining strategic oversight and final accountability for the programs.
• Partner in defining, hiring, and onboarding the Performance Facilitator role, and personally own content and delivery quality until that function is fully built out.
• Foster a culture of ongoing feedback and coaching within the team, actively investing time in developing direct reports and addressing improvement areas as they arise.
• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Consulting, and Operations to drive program visibility, demand generation, and execution excellence.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and overall program impact through systems, processes, and operational improvements.
• Own the end-to-end client experience, ensuring programs deliver outcomes that drive retention, repeat business, and long-term client relationships.
• Own the ongoing quality and improvement of program content and materials, ensuring they stay current, consistent, and aligned with client and industry needs.
• Partner with facilitators and subject-matter experts on content and delivery, personally contributing to content refinement, with facilitation as capacity allows.
