Job summary

MedHOK, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a visionary Director, Professional Services & Business Consulting to lead the client-facing consulting organization across Business Consulting, Technical Consulting, and the Configuration Practice.

You will own solution direction through the customer lifecycle, drive delivery quality, and manage consulting revenue and utilization while enabling AI-enabled delivery and scalable, repeatable playbooks for complex healthcare engagements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical/solution consulting, systems integration, or software implementation in healthcare technology, including leading teams.
• Demonstrated ownership of a professional-services P&L or utilization/revenue targets and delivery quality at scale.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills; experience with REST/SOAP, XML/JSON, and healthcare interoperability standards.
• Security knowledge (SSO, SSL/TLS, OAuth 2.0) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred); familiarity with AI-enabled delivery.
• Proven ability to lead multi-client teams and communicate complex concepts to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Consulting, Technical Consulting, and Configuration Practice teams and manage hiring, onboarding, coaching, and capacity planning.
• Transform the organization into a high-performing unit with deep clinical, functional, and technical expertise and on-budget delivery.
• Set and manage the function's OKRs/KPIs; drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and knowledge sharing.
• Own the cross-training program so resources can deliver both service types with higher allocation flexibility.
• Own consulting services revenue and billable utilization targets; forecast, track, and report performance monthly.
• Provide solution direction across the customer lifecycle and act as a senior technical advisor to clients.
