Job summary

William Paterson University of New Jersey seeks a Director for the Russ Berrie Institute for Professional Sales (RBI) within the Cotsakos College of Business. This role reports to the Dean and collaborates with MMPS faculty, the SBDC, and external partners to drive revenue, grants, and community engagement.

The position requires a minimum of 5 years in B2B sales or sales management, a master's degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years work experience in B2B sales and/or sales management.
• Evidence of a significant network of business contacts or potential to develop such a network.
• Master's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead RBI in developing and increasing strategic corporate sponsorships.
• Oversee planning and execution of RBI co-curricular programs (National Sales Challenge, Sales Triathlon, Sales Career Fair).
• Lead research for funding sources and assist with development of funding proposals.
• Coordinate coaching for CCOB Professional Sales competition teams.
• Collaborate with academic departments to promote programs and services.
• Coordinate with the Dean and Chairs to form RBI Advisory Council.
• Build relationships with universities, K-12 schools, and external partners.
