Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Director, Product Owner to join the Payments and Billing Transformation program. You will lead backlogs, align multiple agile teams, and drive delivery across billing, analytics, and platform workstreams, balancing ambiguity with disciplined planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Two years of experience in Agile product management.
• Three or more years of experience articulating and translating business strategy into delivery-ready execution.
• Strong Agile fluency and ability to lead program-scale delivery.
• Ability to build enterprise-wide relationships and drive decisions across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Define, prioritize, and maintain a ready backlog across one or more value streams, including ambiguity.
• Lead a federated delivery model across multiple agile teams and delivery leads.
• Own product delivery outcomes in a complex transformation landscape and restore momentum when needed.
• Partner with MSA-owned teams to align scope, sequence, and delivery standards.
• Facilitate discussions with SMEs on finance controls and business rules to define backlog items.
• Collaborate with circle leads, tech leads, and architecture to remove impediments and maintain velocity.
• Develop workstream delivery plans and manage dependencies across teams and programs.
• Communicate risks, assumptions, and constraints to leadership and adjust plans promptly.
