Job summary

Two Six Technologies is seeking an Associate Director of Product Operations & Production to own how products are built, certified, and delivered. You will lead a small team covering supply chain, certification management, production coordination, and assembly from Arlington, VA, in a hybrid work model.

You will manage order-to-delivery, drive production transfers, enable engineering handoffs, forecast demand, and implement PLM to ensure traceability and compliance across hardware and software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 9+ years in hardware manufacturing, NPI, or production/operations for electronics or complex software systems.
• Experience leading teams or cross-functional programs for end-to-end product deliveries.
• Hands-on experience with at least one manufacturing transfer from prototype to production ramp.
• Experience with supply chain forecasting and management of electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end order-to-delivery execution, build end-to-end plans, manage concurrent orders, surface risks, and create repeatable fulfillment playbooks.
• Lead manufacturing transfer from prototype to production at an internal site or contract manufacturers, owning build plans, test procedures, and first-article inspection.
• Coach engineering teams on documentation for clean handoffs (BOMs, drawings, test procedures).
• Forecast demand, manage long-lead components and inventory, qualify and manage contract manufacturers and vendors.
• Implement and manage PLM as the single source of truth for BOMs, revisions, and change control; enable serialization and delivery tracking.
• Oversee certification and compliance for hardware and software products; extend release and delivery processes across the portfolio.
