AeroVironment seeks a Product Line Director to design, develop, and lead activities for a specific group of products, from planning through production release and end of life. You will socialize roadmaps with internal teams, partner with executives, and work daily with Program Management and Engineering to achieve strategic goals.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 15+ years’ relevant experience.
• Experience taking 3 major systems to market in a low rate or full rate production environment.
• Proven ownership and driving results – self-starter and self-directed.
• Demonstrated experience managing profit and loss in a technology company.
• 5+ years experience managing development budgets.
• Experienced in presenting to executive leadership.
• Experienced in product road mapping, R&D, and product sustainment activities.
• Knowledge of weapon systems and products, with experience managing multiple projects.
• Experience delivering mature systems to Domestic and International customers.
• Experience managing the work of others and tasking
• Familiarity with managing Profit/Loss
• Proficient with office productivity software
• Experience building teams through leadership attributes

Responsabilidades

• Holds complete responsibility for a specific loitering munition product line.
• Leads the product line through lifecycle from inception to sunset.
• Guides new product introduction with engineering and operations; aligns with Go-to-Market plans.
• Balances customer and business needs in planning and retiring products.
• Establishes and achieves buy-in for product line strategies.
• Works with customer programs to manage new pursuits and contracts.
• Provides guidance for new business pursuits and proposals.
• Collaborates to define product pricing, promotion, placement, and features.
• Develops Product Requirements with stakeholders.
• Consults with CTO and Engineering on technologies for roadmaps.
• Manages prioritization and trade-offs across projects with resource constraints.
• Interfaces with customers to understand concepts of operations and problems Statements.
• Creates buy-in for the product vision internally and with customers.
• Leads annual budgeting for R&D and sustainment activities.
