Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active U.S. state bar membership.
• 7+ years of experience in product, technology, privacy, governance, or related roles.
• Experience supporting technology products, SaaS, fintech, or regulated financial services.
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and issue-spotting skills.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts for technical and executive audiences.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration in fast-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal guidance across the product lifecycle with product, engineering, security and compliance teams.
• Advise on regulatory requirements affecting digital banking, payment solutions, data, AI, and emerging tech.
• Lead AI governance initiatives and develop AI policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Oversee AI risk assessments and manage the AI inventory with cross-functional partners.
• Draft and negotiate technology, integration, and partnership agreements.
• Build scalable contract templates, playbooks, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of international attorneys.
