Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director in the Operations Group / Transformation Services to lead large, complex engagements across cost reduction, organizational restructuring, and performance improvements for private equity clients in the U.S.

The role focuses on designing and implementing solutions that drive EBITDA growth, working closely with PE leadership to deliver impactful results across portfolios in manufacturing, services, distribution, and retail sectors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional or consulting experience implementing cost‑reduction programs or organizational restructuring.
• MBA from a top‑tier school is highly preferred.
• Experience working with private equity relationships is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Structure and manage time‑sensitive performance‑improvement plans to completion.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost structure by restructuring leadership and staffing levels.
• Synthesize insights from data and facts to enhance EBITDA and operating efficiencies.
• Implement cost‑reduction programs including role changes and process improvements.
• Develop findings and make strategic recommendations.
• Provide hands‑on consulting across margin management, sales & operations planning, and supply chain.
