Job summary

Siemens seeks an experienced Director, Data & Privacy R&D to lead privacy and data management for Asset Management Software. You will work with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, and Legal/Compliance to embed privacy into development and platform operations.

You will own RoPA, DPIA, reporting cadence, and cross-functional tracking, translating regulatory requirements into practical engineering patterns while managing budget and KPIs across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of progressive experience in technical privacy implementations.
• Ability to translate multi-jurisdictional regulatory obligations into practical controls and workflows.
• IAPP certifications preferred; strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead privacy and data governance roadmap execution in line with enterprise strategy.
• Build privacy engineering and privacy operations capabilities across product teams.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, and Legal/Compliance.
• Deliver quarterly updates on program status and risk priorities.
• Own budget, forecast, and spend visibility for the privacy program.
• Run DPIA workflows end-to-end and manage RoPA processes.
• Develop reusable privacy patterns and governance metrics for products.
