Job summary

Intuitive Surgical seeks a Senior Director of Privacy & Data Protection to lead global privacy and data protection commitments across customer, employee, and patient data. Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required.
• Membership in at least one U.S. Bar.
• At least one IAPP certification.
• Minimum of thirteen years’ experience in global Data Privacy legal and compliance matters.
• Preferred: California State Bar membership or in-house counsel eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Counsel managers, contributors, business units and executives on Privacy & Data Protection matters.
• Advise executives on privacy laws, including AI, and lead readiness for new regulations.
• Support privacy investigations, remediations and regulator inquiries.
• Draft and negotiate data use, data licensing, and data sharing agreements.
