Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required.
• Membership in at least one U.S. Bar.
• At least one IAPP certification.
• Minimum of thirteen years' experience in global Data Privacy legal and compliance matters.
• Preferred: California State Bar eligibility or in-house counsel status.
• Experience in health care or medical devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Counsel managers, individuals, business units and executives on Privacy & Data Protection matters.
• Enhance privacy program through proactive risk identification and governance.
• Advise executives on AI privacy laws and enforcement trends.
• Support data privacy investigations, remediations and regulator inquiries.
• Draft and negotiate data use, data licensing, and data sharing agreements.
• Mentor and lead junior legal team members and coordinate cross-functional projects.
• Identify strategic opportunities to strengthen data protection posture.
• Allocate legal resources to advance Intuitive's interests efficiently.
