Role Description

The Regional Director of Operations – Ophthalmology Services is a full-time, on-site role based in Orlando, FL. This position oversees operational performance across a regional network of ophthalmology and optometry practices, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality patient care and service. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing practice operations, optimizing workflows, monitoring key performance indicators, and implementing process improvements. The role also involves leading and mentoring practice managers and staff, overseeing regional budgeting and resource allocation, and collaborating with clinical leaders to align operational initiatives with patient care goals. The Regional Director will work closely with senior leadership to support strategic growth, drive operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong operations management skills, including experience overseeing multi-site healthcare or clinical service operations.
• Well-developed analytical skills to interpret financial, operational, and quality data and drive data-informed decisions.
• Proven team management abilities, including leadership, coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Budgeting and financial management skills, including forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience in Ophthalmology Services required.

• Demonstrated ability to work on-site across practices in the Orlando, FL region and travel within the region as needed.
