Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Director for Power Delivery Solutions to lead the delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned programs in the Washington, DC metro area and surrounding regions. The role requires coordinating with technical teams, section managers, and the PMO to ensure schedule, cost, and quality targets are met.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 10+ years of experience in electric utility engineering.
• Functional understanding of electrical, civil, structural and mechanical engineering as applied to power delivery.
• Advanced understanding of electric power utility industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent team building and coloration skills.

Responsibilities

• The Program Director will manage the delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned program(s).
• PD will engage technical teams, review progress, evaluate effectiveness and maximize outcomes.
• Collaborate with Section Managers on delivery of engineering activities and resource management.
• Partner with the Project Management Organization to optimize program management and issue investigations.
• Develop financial forecasts of revenue and operating income on the program.
• Support the VP-T&S on special projects as assigned.
