Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington is seeking a Director of Project Management for Financial Enterprise Engagement to lead Project Horizon, IU's financial transformation initiative. The role reports to the Associate Vice President and directs cross-campus workstreams across UA and IU campuses, balancing academic calendars with ambitious milestones.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, 4+ years of project management experience including 1 year in a leadership role; MBA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 4+ years of relevant experience; 1 year of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day execution and delivery of Project Horizon initiatives across University Administration (UA) and IU campuses.
• Leads finance working groups and process workshops focused on organizational design, workstream planning, and cost-saving evaluations.
• Serves as primary liaison between campus leaders, UA units, and external consultants to drive alignment and decisions.
• Facilitates project committees and vendor teams to maintain cross-institutional buy-in and provide progress updates to executives.
• Prepares management reports for senior administration and participates in university committees related to project management.
