Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Director, Engineering to run the team behind Crusoe's customer-facing cloud platform. You’ll lead a 60+ person Product Engineering org through senior managers and engineering leads, setting technical direction, driving the roadmap, and ensuring reliability, security, and on-call rigor.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering.
• 5+ years leading 40-100+ engineer orgs.
• Owned a cloud platform (IaaS/PaaS/managed services).
• AI tooling fluent.
• Distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• In growth-stage settings, maintained quality and on-call discipline.
• Direct, low-ego leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 60+ person Product Engineering org through senior managers and engineering leads.
• Drive the roadmap for Crusoe's customer-facing cloud platform and managed services.
• Set direction for developer portal, identity, billing, interfaces, registries, metrics, and managed logging.
• Ship the roadmap with Product and Infrastructure while raising quality, reliability, security, and on-call rigor.
• Step into major customer escalations and key product decisions when stakes are high.
• Turn customer needs into platform capabilities with Sales and Solutions Engineering.
• Build shared technical foundations with Crusoe's broader infrastructure and AI platform teams.
