Ladders is seeking a Director, Platform Programs for a remote role in the Finance & Insurance space. You will shape the operating rhythm for a platform organization by driving planning, intake, prioritization, and delivery across multiple teams.

This cross-functional leader will partner with senior leadership and central functions to create clarity, improve execution, and align roadmaps with business priorities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in PMO leadership or senior operations within product/tech.
• Experience building operating models from scratch.
• Deep understanding of agile product delivery.
• Experience designing intake and prioritization frameworks.
• Skilled at planning cadences and executive updates.
• Strong sizing and estimation methodologies.
• Excellent facilitation and decision-making.

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Platform Programs to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape the operating rhythm for a platform organization by driving planning, intake, prioritization, and delivery across multiple teams. The Director will partner closely with leadership and central functions to create clarity, improve execution, and keep roadmap commitments aligned to business priorities. This is a highly cross-functional role focused on building scalable program practices that support disciplined product and technology delivery. The work will help the organization operate with greater transparency, accountability, and speed.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $175,000 – $210,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own and facilitate quarterly and annual roadmap planning processes
• Prepare and deliver concise updates for leadership forums
• Organize and run impactful sprint demos and retrospectives
• Design and manage the end-to-end development process from intake to delivery
• Build and maintain a transparent intake framework for feature requests
• Define clear roles and responsibilities across teams to eliminate ambiguity
• Act as the primary interface between the platform organization and central functions

Qualifications

• 8+ years in PMO leadership or a senior operational role in a product or technology organization, preferably during transformation
• Proven experience building operating models from scratch
• Deep understanding of agile product delivery and its processes
• Experience designing trusted intake and prioritization frameworks
• Skilled in running effective planning cadences and executive updates
• Strong command of sizing and estimation methodologies
• Excellent facilitator and decision-maker, able to drive outcomes effectively
