Job summary

Babson College is seeking a Director of Planned Giving to design, direct, and implement a comprehensive program to market planned giving as a major gifts vehicle. The role will advise major gift officers, manage a donor portfolio, and achieve overall planned giving goals while coordinating a marketing plan.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of experience in planned/major giving and fundraising management.
• Experience closing planned and major gifts at six-figure level.
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of planned giving and fundraising.
• Current working knowledge of IRS rules for planned giving.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement long- and short-term planned giving fundraising strategies.
• Research, identify, and contact planned giving prospects.
• Develop education efforts and awareness for the front-line fundraising team.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward planned giving donors with other staff.
• Serve as the planned giving advisor for the Major Gifts team.
• Travel with gift officers as needed to assist in gift planning.
