Job summary

Qualifications

• Education background or equivalent experience in fundraising or related field.
• Strong knowledge of major gifts and planned giving concepts.
• Proven ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
• History of success in facilitating, closing and securing gifts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior member of the Gift Planning team and provide expertise in deferred and complex gift matters.
• Participate in marketing strategy creation and collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward current and prospective donors.
• Manage a personal portfolio of major and principal gift prospects.
• Plan and implement planned giving strategies with donors and development officers.
• Provide guidance and supervision to staff on estate planning options.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and advancement teams to enhance gift planning operations.
