Job summary

ASML / HMI is seeking a Director to build and lead a new Physics Algorithms Engineering team within our e-beam inspection business. This team will develop advanced physical modeling technologies that enhance next-generation semiconductor inspection solutions.

You will drive production-ready algorithm solutions, guide roadmaps for SEM image simulation, electron-beam physics, voltage-contrast modeling, and AI-enabled methods, collaborating with CV/ML teams to deliver integrated inspection software

Qualifications

PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
10+ years of technical leadership in physics-based modeling, computer vision, machine learning, or related fields.
Experience building and scaling engineering teams, preferably in semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

Build and lead a high-performing team.
Drive the roadmap for physics-based modeling technologies and AI-enabled methods.
Own end-to-end lifecycle from requirements definition to deployment and customer support.
Collaborate with computer vision, ML, and product teams to deliver integrated inspection solutions.
