Your New Role

The Director, People & Culture Partner is a key position within Warner Bros. Discovery’s People and Culture team. The role and its direct reports will support the Content & Advertising Platforms teams under the Global Technology pillar within the Streaming organization. The Director will partner with senior leadership to provide solutions to employee-related matters, balancing being a strategic business partner and employee champion. The position will challenge the status quo and develop initiatives to ensure Warner Bros. Discovery remains an employer of choice.

The Director should be a self-starter capable of thinking strategically and executing tactically across a range of People & Culture initiatives. The role will serve as the primary partner to the EVP of Content, Streaming & Advertising, his leadership team, and will liaise with the broader HR community at Warner Bros. Discovery. Candidates should be innovative, solution-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and able to engage across levels, locations, and disciplines. The role requires energy, enthusiasm, and sound strategy in a fast-paced tech environment.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Understand top business priorities and execute the people strategy aligned with business goals, refining objectives through the lens of People & Culture and talent management.
  • Lead and develop HR Business Partners and Associates to support their growth and support needs.
  • Support Employee Relations and execute annual People & Culture processes.
  • Identify organizational design opportunities and lead change initiatives.
  • Support leaders in career development, staffing, ethics, and performance management.
  • Foster an inclusive, open, and honest culture, championing organizational values and diversity.
  • Coach leaders to proactively manage teams and resolve grievances.
  • Identify skills gaps and implement up-skilling initiatives.
  • Support culture and leadership enablement efforts.
  • Attend business meetings to stay aligned with needs and communicate People & Culture initiatives.
  • Use data to identify trends and inform strategies.
  • Develop relationships with People & Culture leaders, COEs, and business leaders to address organizational health challenges.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Experience leading HR business partner teams.
  • Experience supporting global client groups within tech or media organizations preferred.
  • Proven conflict resolution and organizational management skills in a matrixed environment.
  • Innovative, respectful, and able to challenge peers constructively.
  • High executive presence and influential communication skills.
  • Ability to apply HR knowledge to complex business challenges.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to support and execute in a dynamic environment.
  • Adaptability to a changing business landscape.
  • Background in HRBP, OD, talent strategy, HR COEs, or related areas.

In accordance with local law, we disclose the salary range: $126,350 - $234,650 annually. Actual salaries depend on various factors. Compensation includes salary, bonuses, incentives, and benefits such as health insurance, wellness programs, retirement plans, and paid time off.
