We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Director, Early Career Talent Strategy Leader to join our Human Resources team. This role is located in New York, Hybrid.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Develop and implement comprehensive early career talent strategies aligned with BNY’s business objectives and growth plans.
- Lead workforce planning and talent pipeline initiatives targeting early career professionals across multiple business units.
- Collaborate with HR, business leaders, and external partners to design innovative programs for recruitment, development, and retention of early career talent.
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and internal data to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
- Manage and mentor a team of strategy and talent development professionals.
- Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment of early career strategies with broader organizational goals and culture.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- 15+ years of experience in strategy, talent management, or related roles within financial services or comparable industries.
- Proven expertise in workforce planning, talent development, and strategic program management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational change.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
- Advanced degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
- Manage and mentor a team of strategy and talent development professionals.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $150,000 and $250,000 peryearat the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors
