Job summary

Nemours Children's Health seeks an innovative PhD-level Research Scientist to lead the Biobank and Molecular Analysis Program (BMAP) and serve as Scientific Director. You will provide scientific oversight for study design, grant support, and translational projects, leveraging genomics, spatial transcriptomics, and DNA methylation platforms to advance pediatric precision medicine.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of postdoctoral, academic, industry, or translational research experience.
Strong expertise in molecular biology and genomics technologies.
Experience with next-generation sequencing workflows and assay development.
Excellent communication and mentorship abilities across interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Provide scientific leadership and consultation to Nemours and collaborators across study development and translational initiatives.
Lead the development, validation, and implementation of molecular diagnostic assays.
Oversee CAP/CLIA-regulated testing and ensure quality management and regulatory compliance.
Foster multidisciplinary collaborations and assist with grant applications and manuscripts.
