Job summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a Molecular Pathologist to lead the molecular pathology and genomics testing program within the Nemours Genomics Laboratory. You will oversee validation, implementation, and quality management of NGS-based assays for pediatric diagnostics.

The role emphasizes clinical interpretation, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with pathology, clinical, research, and bioinformatics teams to advance pediatric precision medicine.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Molecular Genetic Pathology (ABP/ABMGG).
• Expertise in NGS technologies, assay validation, and clinical implementation.
• Strong knowledge of CAP/CLIA requirements for molecular and genomic laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, validation, and implementation of in-house NGS panels for pediatric genomics.
• Direct validation, regulatory compliance, and quality management of molecular assays.
• Provide molecular pathology consultation with pediatric subspecialists and pathology colleagues.
