Ladders is seeking a Director of Payments & Financial Services to own the payments business, shape strategy, and drive revenue growth while ensuring margin discipline and a superior customer experience. This remote role collaborates with internal teams and external providers to execute strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring deep payments/fintech expertise and executive presence to influence across functions and manage complex partner relationships.

Competenze

• 8+ years in payments, fintech, embedded finance, or SaaS financial services with commercial ownership.
• Deep understanding of payments economics, processing, interchange, and pricing dynamics.
• Proven P&L management experience with strong financial and analytical skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across various departments.
• Familiarity with managing external partners and payment networks like Stripe and BNPL providers.
• Strong executive communication skills to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Payments & Financial Services to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This leader will own the payments business, with responsibility for operating rhythm, performance management, and commercial execution. The role will focus on driving high-impact initiatives that support revenue growth, margin discipline, and a strong customer experience. It will also partner closely with internal stakeholders, external providers, and payment networks to shape strategy and deliver efficient, compliant operations.

The ideal candidate will bring deep payments and fintech expertise, along with the executive presence needed to influence across functions and manage complex partner relationships. This is a highly visible opportunity to help guide financial services strategy in an enterprise technology environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually
