Job summary

Lifepoint Health in Brentwood, TN seeks a Director, Payer Relationships and Value-Based Contracting to lead strategic payer engagement and performance across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial, and ACA lines. This role partners with Finance, Analytics, Legal, and network leaders to drive value-based care initiatives and contract success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in healthcare, managed care, payer relations, value-based contracting, or clinically integrated networks.
• Experience with Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial, ACA, or other risk-based/value-based reimbursement arrangements preferred.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, negotiate, and oversee value-based care payer contracts across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial, and ACA lines.
• Serve as the primary Population Health relationship lead for payer partners, coordinating with Managed Care leaders.
• Attend payer Joint Operating Committee meetings and related payer-facing meetings; document key decisions and actions.
• Maintain a master tracker of value-based care contracts (payer, product line, covered lives, term, quality measures).
• Monitor contract performance with Finance, Analytics, Quality, Clinical Operations, Network Directors and other teams.
• Prepare concise, actionable summary materials for board meetings and leadership updates.
