Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL, is seeking a Director of Patient Flow & Capacity Management to lead hospital-wide patient flow, nursing resource management, centralized staffing, float pool and telemetry operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing; MSN or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting; minimum 5 years in nursing management.

Responsibilities

• Lead 24-hour hospital-wide patient flow and capacity management.
• Oversee nursing resources, centralized staffing operations, float pool, telemetry and stroke unit operations.
• Optimize patient flow and appropriate level of care placement; ensure safe, efficient, high-quality care.
• Oversee patient placement, nursing supervision, wound care, telemetry and stroke unit.
• Ensure quality improvement, regulatory compliance and performance initiatives.
• Collaborate with CNO, COO and CFO to establish and evaluate evidence-based standards; promote safety and service excellence.
