Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL, is seeking a Director of Patient Flow & Capacity Management to lead hospital-wide patient flow, nursing resource management, centralized staffing, and telemetry/stroke unit operations.

The role requires 5+ years of acute care nursing, 5+ years in nursing management, and a Florida RN license with BLS/ACLS. Leadership and LEAN certifications are preferred as part of a drive for safety and performance excellence.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN/MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of acute care nursing experience and 5 years in nursing management.
• Emergency Department and/or Intensive Care bedside nursing experience preferred.
• Current Florida RN license; BLS and ACLS required.
• Leadership certification preferred; LEAN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 24-hour hospital-wide patient flow leadership and oversight.
• Manage nursing resources, centralized staffing, float pool and telemetry/stroke unit operations.
• Ensure quality improvement, regulatory compliance and performance initiatives.
• Collaborate with CNO, COO, and CFO to establish, implement and evaluate evidenced-based standards of care.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability and service excellence.
