Job summary

Prisma Health seeks a senior leader to administer and coordinate system-wide Patient Access functions and oversee a team of over 550 staff. You will provide strategic vision, drive performance, and ensure compliant Revenue Cycle processes.

In this role, you will supervise central Insurance Verification, Authorization, and registration operations, and collaborate with ITS on Epic deployments while guiding the Financial Assistance and NSA estimate workflows to improve patient experience.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience with patient Access Services in Hospital or Practice Setting.
• Three (3) years management experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for administering, coordinating and reviewing the performance of system wide patient access functions across the organization.
• Provides vision, leadership and operational oversight for over 550 Patient Access team members.
• Oversees central Patient Access Insurance Verification and Authorization teams and day-to-day registration operations.
• Ensures compliant Revenue Cycle processes and adherence to NSA Estimate compliance and patient estimates workflows.
• Collaborates with ITS and vendor partners to optimize build and performance of Epic and other systems.
• Prepares annual department operating budget and supports department goal setting within fiscal constraints.
