Job summary

Lumenci, a premier IP consulting firm, is hiring a Director of Patent Litigation Consulting in Los Angeles to lead our West Coast high-tech IP practice. You will manage a team of technical consultants and IP experts, own program delivery across concurrent matters, and set quality standards for claim charts, source code review, and expert support.

We work across software, semiconductors, AI/ML, cloud infrastructure, and medical devices, and seek a technical leader who can present complex findings

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical consulting, IP strategy, patent litigation support, or licensing.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, CS, Physics, Math, or related field (advanced degree or JD preferred).
• Proven leadership of technical teams and client-facing delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of technical consultants and IP experts across US delivery teams.
• Own delivery scope, planning, budgeting, milestones, and on-time, on-budget completion.
• Set quality standards for work product, including claim charts, source code review, and expert support.
• Present findings to executives, in-house counsel, and non-technical decision-makers.
• Manage staffing, resources, risks, and engagements across multiple matters.
• Collaborate with product, legal, finance, and People Operations on cross-functional initiatives.
