Job summary

Lumenci is seeking a Director of Patent Litigation Consulting in Los Angeles to lead our high‑tech IP practice on the West Coast. You will manage a team of technical consultants and IP experts, own program delivery across concurrent matters, and set quality standards for claim charts, source code review, and expert support.

You will work on matters across software, semiconductors, AI/ML, cloud services, and medical devices, presenting findings to in-house counsel and litigators.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated people-management experience with hiring, performance reviews, and career development.
• Strong program and project management across concurrent workstreams, budgeting, resourcing, and risk management.
• Experience leading distributed or cross-time-zone teams and allocating resources.
• Background in building processes or internal products that improve team operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of technical consultants and IP experts across US and India delivery teams.
• Own hiring for the practice and oversee performance cycles, development plans, and mentoring.
• Manage delivery across concurrent client matters including scoping, budgeting, milestones, and on-time delivery.
• Establish and enforce quality standards, playbooks, templates, and tooling to ensure consistent work product.
• Present technical findings to non-technical audiences including executives and in-house counsel.
