Job summary

Jobgether SRL seeks a Director of Partner Credit Risk Management & Oversight in the United States to lead the second-line risk function across a growing BaaS and fintech partner ecosystem. You will drive governance, portfolio analytics, and regulatory engagement while managing a team of risk professionals.

The role focuses on credible challenge to partner models, early warning indicators, and forward-looking risk tools, balancing innovation with disciplined risk governance for responsible growth.

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in credit risk or a related function within a regulated financial institution.
• 5 years of experience in a second-line-of-defense, independent oversight, or comparable risk governance function.
• Proven experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience with fintech/BaaS platforms and partner-based ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Partner Credit Risk Managers for second-line oversight of partner programs.
• Establish and enhance a comprehensive credit risk oversight framework for the partner portfolio.
• Develop credit risk policies, controls, and risk appetite for partner programs.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify trends, concentrations, and emerging risks.
• Provide credible challenge to partner models, forecasts, and underwriting approaches.
• Collaborate with fintech partners to align credit practices with risk appetite.
• Support due diligence and onboarding of new BaaS partners.
• Design controls for counterparty credit risk management and monitoring.
