Job summary

Cedar Springs Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Director of Outpatient Services to lead outpatient programs including PHP and IOP. The role reports to the CEO and focuses on clinical quality, operational excellence, and financial management across Cedar Springs outpatient services.

The DOP will drive expansion, improve access to behavioral health, and collaborate with clinicians, administration, and external partners to ensure high-value care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Business Admin, Counseling, Nursing, HCA, Social Work, or related field.
• Licensure in LPC, LCSW, or LMSW; must be registered with Colorado DORA.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, with psychiatric population; 2 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages financial operations of all outpatient programs incl. FTE mgmt and cost control.
• Leads internal and external business development to grow program volume.
• Monitors performance improvement indicators and addresses variances.
• Ensures high quality clinical care in all outpatient programs and regulatory standards.
• Maintains relationships with therapists, physicians, nurses and referral sources.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies including Joint Commission and CMS.
• Oversees staff assignments and schedules.
• Participates in executive meetings.
• Advocates for patients by processing grievances.
• Ensures hospital policies and procedures are followed and updated.
• Provides clinical education for all staff members.
• Manages day-to-day operations of PHP and IOP.
