Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Director of Organizational Research to lead an enterprise consulting practice, shaping vision, strategy, and execution for organizational capability across the enterprise. You will guide a team of Associate Directors and Managers to deliver multi-year engagements for L2-L4 leaders and the enterprise.

You will leverage internal and external data, partner with CHRO and HR leaders, and represent AbbVie externally through collaborations and conferences to drive impactful

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; PhD preferred.
• 12+ years of related experience in management consulting or leading consultative work.
• Experience with employee surveys and people analytics.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with executive leaders globally.
• Proven track record of driving business performance during times of change.
• Leadership and people development experience.
• Strategic planning and accountability for long-term strategic plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise capability area for Organizational Research to drive organizational effectiveness and align with the strategic roadmap.
• Set a vision, strategy, and execution plan for delivering the capability and increasing its value.
• Analyze multiple data sources to identify insights and inform strategy and execution.
• Represent AbbVie externally in consortium groups, conferences, benchmarking, and partnerships.
• Consult with HR and business leaders for business development and improvement initiatives.
• Manage a team of consultants on strategy execution, potentially cross-practice.
• Own client relationships, scoping, pricing of engagements, and project outcomes.
• Lead delivery of environment assessment, strategy, culture development, and change readiness.
