Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required; master's preferred (or in progress for internal candidates)
• Current RN licensure in Rhode Island
• 5–7 years of progressively responsible perioperative experience, with 3+ years in leadership
• CNOR or related perioperative certifications highly desired

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of OR, Endoscopy, and Sterile Processing to ensure efficient care
• Develop staffing plans aligned with patient needs and retention strategies
• Incorporate clinical and tech advances; set metrics for quality, efficiency and safety
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize schedules and throughput
• Monitor outcomes and drive quality improvement across perioperative services
• Oversee audits, risk management, infection control, and regulatory compliance
• Foster collaboration across facilities and promote knowledge sharing
• Monitor budgets and control costs while maintaining care standards
• Build relationships with vendors and academic partners
