Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group in Houston seeks a Director of Operations to lead full lifecycle delivery of large-scale technology construction programs. You will own program strategy, client relationships, and financial performance across multiple projects while guiding a talented PMO and cross-functional teams.

You will manage contract structures (GMP, cost-plus, lump-sum), drive cost models, and ensure risk and schedule controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent; equivalent work experience may be substituted
• 10+ years in operational or program management overseeing large-scale power delivery, electrical infrastructure, and/or advanced technology construction
• 7+ years of direct people leadership managing multi-functional project delivery teams
• Experience with GMP, cost-plus, and lump-sum contract structures at the program level
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce client-ready deliverables and executive presentations
• Experience scaling organizations through structured hiring and onboarding
• 50% travel, or as operational needs dictate

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned PMO spanning Project Executives, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Preconstruction, Cost, Scheduling, and Contracts
• Owns PMO oversight: project delivery, escalation protocols, and reporting standards across Safety, Quality, Execution, and Cost
• Develops and maintains program-level portfolio tracking for schedule, cost, risk, and resource utilization
• Drives project execution strategy including contract structures, change management, and preconstruction scope
• Manages contract administration for major construction agreements; leads redline review and amendments
• Leads client-facing communications including program status reporting, billing overviews, and issue resolution
• Establishes onboarding, staffing processes and performance management to scale the organization
