Job summary

Prudential Financial, Inc. through PGIM Operational Risk Management seeks a Director to lead risk assessments and collaborate with control functions across Product, Marketing, Institutional and Retail lines. The role oversees audits, SOX, and action plans while promoting an enterprise-wide risk culture.

The candidate will analyze risk events, drive root-cause analyses and work with senior leadership to implement corrective actions within a global asset management framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of Audit and/or Operational Risk Management experience in the Asset Management industry.
• Experience facilitating risk and control self-assessments and reporting in a global organization.
• Ability to analyze risk events, perform root-cause analysis and track corrective actions.
• Strong communication and relationship-building across cross-functional teams.
• Ethical standards and ability to challenge management while partnering.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and control reviews for processes, new products, and initiatives.
• Review risk events, perform root cause analysis, identify trends and corrective measures.
• Report to Senior Management on key operational risks and audit issues.
• Coordinate internal audits, SOX walkthroughs and audit action plans.
• Collaborate with regional offices and control functions to reinforce risk ownership.
