Job summary

Georgetown University seeks a Director of Residential Operations and Housing to lead on-campus housing for 5,400 students with annual revenue responsibility exceeding $58 million. You will oversee housing assignments and operations, guide occupancy management, and partner with key campus offices to support renovations and strategic goals.

The role requires directing a team of two Assistant Directors plus 50–75 student staff, coordinating with Business Development and Summer & Conference Housing,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years professional experience.
• Master’s Degree required.
• Administrative and supervisory experience in higher education housing.
• Experience with housing occupancy management and StarRez is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations for a large housing system with multiple revenue streams.
• Develop occupancy management policy, forecasting, and housing operations structuring.
• Collaborate with campus partners and oversee staff and student employees.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and crisis management within residential operations.
