Qualifications

• Experience in the arts, program leadership and staff management.
• Ability to collect and track data, measure outcomes and manage budgets.
• Balance creativity with structure, accountability and strong leadership.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic goals and outcomes for Spark Arts programming with the Director of Operations.
• Curate and oversee a portfolio of high-quality Spark Arts programming for diverse ages.
• Communicate and coordinate internally to ensure programs operate smoothly with other Firehouse programming.
• Plan with admin team the yearly Firehouse Block Party For Peace.
• Supervise Spark Arts Vendors and Afterschool programming.
• Manage Afterschool Matters programs, reports, and responsibilities with the partnership.
• Cultivate relationships with funders, program partners, community stakeholders, and vendors to secure space, resources, and access to services.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop external messaging for Spark Arts programs and events.
• Provide direct services to participants when needed, including leading classes and workshops.
• Develop and train staff on the Arts as Redemptive Transformation framework.
• Establish expectations for contracted instructors and implement evaluation systems.
