Job summary

Business Staffing of America, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Community Impact to help grow and strengthen programs serving Chicago's Northwest Side. The role partners with executive leadership to advance mission, strengthen community relationships, and oversee diverse initiatives.

The ideal candidate leads with collaboration, passion for youth development, arts and culture, workforce readiness, and community engagement to empower individuals and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• Experience in nonprofit management, community development, education, youth services, arts administration, or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills expected.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of organizational goals, priorities, and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with executive leadership on planning, growth opportunities, and special projects.
• Represent the organization at community meetings, events, and partnership opportunities.
• Foster a positive, mission-driven culture among staff, volunteers, program participants, and community stakeholders.
• Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of community programs and services.
• Support initiatives related to arts, media, sports, education, workforce development, entrepreneurship, and youth leadership.
• Ensure programs align with community needs and organizational objectives.
