Job summary

YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth is seeking an experienced Youth Achievement Operations Director to lead the Youth Achievement portfolio across 59 after-school sites, grant-funded programs, and camps. The role blends strategic oversight with hands-on program leadership to ensure high-quality participant experiences.

The Director will supervise three Senior Program Directors, drive staff development, and implement best practices in licensing, safety, and program excellence while building a strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, child development, recreation, nonprofit management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• At least five years of progressively responsible youth program management experience.
• Experience leading multi-site youth programs and supervising program leaders.
• Knowledge of Texas child care licensing standards and regulations.
• Grant management, compliance, and reporting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Youth Achievement programs, ensuring alignment with the YMCA’s mission and best practices.
• Establish and monitor standards for program quality, safety, participant engagement, family communication, and customer service across locations.
• Supervise, coach, and develop three Senior Program Directors and 59 after-school sites.
• Develop operating plans to support program quality, enrollment, retention, and growth.
• Ensure compliance with safety, licensing, and reporting requirements.
