Job summary

Diverse Talent Pool seeks a Project Director for the Workshop Training and Business Development Center to direct operations, partner with employers and community organizations, and lead workforce development initiatives focused on expanding training in advanced materials, manufacturing, IT, and data management.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field and substantial management experience in employment/training programs.
• Minimum five years in business development or training program delivery with knowledge of the service delivery area.
• Ability to design processes, supervise staff, and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Strong communication and writing skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee business development activities, marketing and selling workforce training to regional customers.
• Identify diverse needs of business & industry (soft skills, workforce & technical).
• Build partnerships with community/governmental agencies, educational institutions, employers and related groups.
• Manage fiscal administration of federal grants and ensure compliance.
• Recruit and coordinate non-credit adjunct training/education/consulting professionals.
• Prepare monthly, annual and periodic fiscal reports.
• Coordinate workforce development events and catalog/program development.
